Description
I last heard "I never got where I expected to be." in 1978. Here is where I met the unknown expectation. Each owner did not want a vehicle. This picture is for youth two to three years after high school. Me?, I was not going to be dragged back to fixing cars and pumping gas. 1973 finished that off for good. The myth that one had to commute to work at a good job eventually exhausted even myself. I took the train and the plane.

I have made a plan to be at the EAA convention in July/August this year if a Mitral valve does not cause me to seek refunds of best laid plans before I got my two vaccine shots. 100,000 builders as campers and exhibiters of homemade aircraft is a maize for a fanjet guy who basically said farewell to propellers.

So I am an EAA life member and never got to the Exhibition. Ukraine, what is that about?
As far as the first by "eekdog" goes the orange car on the end belonged to a student at U of M who had so-so student effect. He had trust account and one of the other players at a party late in 1964 said "his father built the Verrazano Narrows bridge!" Yesterday I tried to find that principal among the designers of that edifice. I found he was not genius at school and the firm he had begun at in the way way back had been started by someone with no engineering training at all. I think I found my friend who had gone on to the University of Toledo and he is still alive.
I am now hoping to have enough funds to buy a life membership on the EAA with the income on April 1. I will avoid April fool's Day and even mayday one month later. Now if tomorrow I can be Northern Irish to fit those who trained near the "Indian School" which I am just realizing is another reference to "Chief Tamany."
