Description
The shock wave from the super nova hits the spaceship with such force it temporarily knocks
all the humans aboard unconscious. If there is any silver lining to this story, their ship
was on the far edge of the shock wave and they only encountered a very minor magnitude of
the blast. Any further in and they would have been crushed flat!
Also, luckily for them (hopefully luckily???), they all survived and no one seems to have
any serious injuries. Just some bruising and scrapes from being flung around inside the
cabin from the force of the blast. They will certainly have very sore muscles as the shock
effects begin to wear off. Everyone seems to regain consciousness about the same time. Even
Silo has come out of his medically induced slumbers and groggily slurs questions about what
is going on.
Jake and Janax have gone up into the ship's controls and are trying all the electronics.
Everything seems to be knocked out of whack and isn't responding to any of their adjustments,
tweaks and attemptes at activation.
Red Rover suggests, 'If I can get out through the air lock, I suggest that I make a thorough
external inspection of the ship. Perhaps there might be a way to get sub-space communications
working again and we can send a distress signal.' he trills.
'Sounds like an excellent idea to me!' says Janax and Jake and Jorge nod their heads in
agreement.
To everyone's relief, Red is able to get outside the ship though the air lock without causing
any loss of pressure inside the ship. Soon, he is seen walking along the hull. One of the
handy designs of Red's body are the magnetic soles in his feet. He has no difficulty walking
along the hull of the ship.
The prognosis is not good at all. There are extensive breaches in the outer hull and buckles
in the sheet metal. The long communication antenna on the front of the ship is bent all out
of shape. This might explain why the electronics aren't working as they should.
Red does some scans of the antenna and can see there are many breaks in the circuitry. It will
take quite a lot of work splicing them back together. Probably more than he can do on his own.
Maybe someone can come outside in the one space suit onboard and help him with the work?

Uho, will they succeed and will someone hear their disstress. What adventures and perils awaits? Nicely done.
Very well done sci-fi scene, the antenna seems to be in bad shape!
Fortunately, Red has magnetic soles, but the ship needs a lot of repairs ! excellent scifi scene !
This whole trip has been one wild disaster after another!
Tell me more...
One trouble after another. Sounds like 2020. Be careful, Red!
Very clever. Well done, too.
