Description
Jorge continued digging into his purse dispensing more credits for jugs of grog, as the locals
call it. It is sad to say, he probably drank much more than he should have. Jake and Silo just
watch and listen to his unfolding tale of the possible riches to be found on this long lost
planet.
Jorge tells of one section in the manuscript he is currently deciphering that tells of some very
sophisticated devices for enhancing the body. Sort of a fountain of youth machine. Not much of
the details have come through his readings but it sounds like this race had probably mastered
death itself.
If that was the case, the question is instantly raised, what happened to them? If they could
live forever, why aren't they still around?
Well, perhaps that is the key to the whole mystery. Perhaps they are still around. Who can
say whether all of the advancements throughout the galaxie are from individual planetary
evolution and development or that some of this race wasn't involved in improving the odds for
some of these formerly primitive species.
Further information was promised to Jorge by the old archaeologist before he died. He
indicated that there were several more manuscripts in the locker on his former home planet
that might shed more light on this race. He just hadn't gotten a chance to get them all
translated before he ran into Jorge.
Jake and Silo listen to this story with much more than just polite interest. In fact,
Jake has really fallen for the line about the 'immortality' possibilities, since he is
about twice Silo's age. His body is starting to feel the effects of all his exploits over
the years and he could sure do with a little relief from some of the pains his injuries
have caused.
While Silo attempts to put on an interested front, it is plain to see by the lateness of
the evening that he is starting to get bored with all the details. Suddenly, he asks,
'What's up with that little red android pussy footing around us all night? I first noticed
him when we first met. Do you suppose he might be a spy for someone who thinks Jorge
really has something worthwhile?'
Jorge chokes a little on his drink at Silo's remark about the worth of his story, but he
speaks up, 'Oh that android. He and I are buddies. We hooked up several years ago when I
was still a novice at the university. He just happened to be on one of the school's digs I
was participating in. We hit it off and have been together ever since. I don't know what I
would do without him! He's kept me out of a lot of close scrapes!'
'Well, perhaps you should introduce us to your little buddy before he wears out some of his
ball bearings circling our table.' says Silo. Clearly, in his tiring mood, he is ready for
some kind of diversion.
'Red, can you come over here a moment. It's alright. I told them about you. Red, this guy
on my right is Silo. Silo Munroe. And the guy on my left is Jake Hardazz. Silo, Jake, I'd
like you to meet Red Rover. They say they are willing to take us to the old professor's
planet and want to join us in our quest to find the lost planet.'
Red Rover saunters over to the table, trying to look non-plussed. He greets the two guys
with his tinny sounding voice and casts a warning look at Jorge. Clearly, Red is a bit
wary of these two guys. He has been doing a little research on his own while looking after
Jorge and has unearthed quite a bit of history on the two. He plans on filling Jorge in on
it after they part company with the two pilots.
'Well, I think its time to call it an evening.' says Silo. He really can't handle any more
of this and is ready to head off to the old 'fart sack' as they call it sometimes in non-
polite societies.
'Well, lets meet here again tomorrow afternoon. I'd like to get more details about where
your space ship is and other details we haven't discussed tonight.' say Jorge.
'Sounds like a good plan to me.' says Jake. 'We'll see you here tomorrow afternoon.'

Great story continuation, love the collection of aliens in the room.
Good render and good story. There's quite a collection of patrons at this place. Red Rover is smart and I bet he has a few interesting facts to share.
Great beginning to the story
A fun render, and an excellent write-up! Great job RRD.
Excellent continuation of the story and a nice mixture of characters! Just as well he has a clever robot as a companion ...
The phrase, a fool and his money are soon parted, came to mind. Maybe Red has some more sense than Jorge.
Well, I hate to say it, but, you know, Jorge is a true blond. LOL! Now I have upset all the blonds out there! I'm sorry. My bad! Thanks for commenting and viewing. I think we may see some of Red's wisdom in future episodes, if there are future episodes.
Beautiful and enormous work, bravo
A bar that looks very nice, I'll have a drink there. Good work

As has been said elsewhere - many times - "I have a bad feeling about this..."
I'd trust those two about as far as I could throw Red... LOL Fun tale and great work on these scenes, Bill.
