Description
A Nakajima K-27 "Abdul" (designated "Nate" later by Allies) of the Imperial Japanese Air Force bests a Chinese Polikarpov I-15 in a tussle over Mongolia. Although a very capable and worthy adversary, the I-15 was no match for the nimbler single wing Ki-27.

It was hardly a fair fight, and the Chinese not only had a quality disadvantage they had a numerical disadvantage in the air too. A good representation of the painful struggle they endured.
