Description
Good afternoon my friends, with this mixed-medium image, I wish you all another nice Day, remain vigilant and healthy!
Artemis, in Greek religion, the goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation and of chastity and childbirth; she was identified by the Romans with Diana. Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the twin sister of Apollo. Among the rural populace, Artemis was the favourite goddess.

Beautiful characters and setting
A brilliant scene! Thanks for the words!
I always imagined her showing up to family dinner, dropping a huge boar on the table and then kicking her feet up. While the "dainty" gods and goddesses sniff loudly.
She's one of the more rational Greek gods. No wonder she was well-liked by the rural populace.
C'est une ambiance qui m'évoque certaines peintures préraphaélites, à la fois douce, et un peu désenchantée.
Merci cher Marco, j'espère que vous tous allez bien!?!
Awesome image!
excellent
Bravo, excellent! The women goddesses are fantastic. I love the whole feel of this magical and regal scene. I feels old and yet very modern and relevant. The flowers add softness to all that stone. Beautiful work, Ute!
Great scene! Excellent work!
She was also rather bad tempered...look at poor Actaeon! lovely tableau, great combo of elements
That's Life - Smile! Actaeon, in Greek mythology, son of the minor god Aristaeus and Autonoë (daughter of Cadmus, the founder of Thebes in Boeotia); he was a Boeotian hero and hunter. According to Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Actaeon accidentally saw Artemis (goddess of wild animals, vegetation, and childbirth) while she was bathing on Mount Cithaeron; for this reason he was changed by her into a stag and was pursued and killed by his own 50 hounds. In another version, he offended Artemis by boasting that his skill as a hunter surpassed hers.
A lovely setting for the beautiful characters; excellent image!

Awesome work again! You're on a roll, wish I could do three in a row like this, I think I'd damage my wee brain if I tried...

Moi je l'adore aussi à mourrir (ou presque)!!!
This is awesome, Ute! You really went all out on this!
Artemis is also the NASA program name for the next missions to the moon (twin sister of Apollo)..
God, I love Lindsey Stirling! She also did a version of Artemis at Cape Canaveral.
