This is a big thank-you for chasfh!
It's fun to imagine what it might be like to actually have a SO in my life. Would she be the type to wear such at thing? Would be be sweet? distant? What would we talk about? Would she want to watch cartoons on a Saturday morning and just hang out all day?
At 33, you start to think it's never going to happen. I hold onto to some hope, but... zero girlfriends.Like, _ever._ And its not like I'm a leper!
So. We got Fleur loaded up. Took a bit to pick a color for this wonderful lingerie set. (Never got lingerie for my birthday before, lol) and then i let it flow from there. She got some freckles added, a scar that doesn't make her any less beautiful. A little bit of weight to make her a little more "real." TBH, I've owned this bedroom set since it came out, but never loaded it before. It's a bit cramped! I'm not sure I'm going to use it for the character I bought it for. It worked here, though, once we've removed some of the toys. Intimate.
From there, the bulbs needed an emmissive, a skydome needed to be selected (Darkest Nights from Orestes) and I needed to fiddle with my spotlight until we could see her eyes and still have decent shadows. The messy updo made it a little challenging. A last look, and I decided she'd likely put on a little makeup. I was also not happy with the eyes, so Sonja provided both some pretty blue peepers and the makeup. (That sounds a bit weird, don't it?)
It's a lovely scene, and hopefully tells a story. I can imagine the character on the receiving end of that stare, too. Might just have to do a follow-up.
As for me? I can live vicariously through the voices in my head. Maybe someday, but probably not. You get used to being lonely, after a while.
I also have another character in mind that would totally put on a set like this for her girlfriend. Definitely going to have to render up _that_ scene! Anybody know of a good retro TV set model? Maybe even, (gasp) a VCR? Lol. Time to go hunting again!

It's been a rough week, but I know I'll muscle through it. Was going to go to the beach, but Mom ended up needing a surgery to clear a blood clot in her arm. She'll be ok, though.
