just had to do one more of your older pieces (that I've yet to comment on)...this actually reminds me of the pieces you just posted, it's a vision from inside the mysteries of the cosmos...I love that eye, and the feeling of a womb surrounding it, and the ripples it sends into space (like it gave contour to space itself). It's all a dark blue, but there's light in it, and the orb that contains the eye looks like a complex living organism. So mysterious---that eye is really goddess-like, it's hard to explain and it seems to see everything. Beautiful work barb. You've been so kind to me (and to others), and I'm so grateful for it, and always have been. I'll comment on more, next time. (The crush of legalities after loss is numbing, as you may know...you think the law might hold back at a time like this, but boy what you have to cancel, call, provide docs for...all while you're trying to actually mourn...) I saw the photo before this, btw (the dove), and I always love your local nature shots (I'll comment next time), but I wonder if the two doves didn't wind up in this image...one can almost see their wings over this mother's eye...
