Description
The "Bucket of Blood" is a famous saloon in Virginia City and one of my favorite hangouts.
Legend has it that so many fights have been had there that in the morning when they mop the floor the bucket was filled with more blood then water, hence the name.
Now what does that have to do with this picture...I have no idea, I just like telling the story.

Fun scene! I like how the bay horse on the left looks more interested in the deer wearing a saddle than in the oddly shaped (toon) horse standing next him/her! It also kinda looks like the cowboy with the toon horse is checking out the deer rather than the cowgirl! And there's some kind of unsavory character emerging from the bar, no doubt to cause some kind of trouble. Are those piles of horse poop on the road? Love the rubber ducky in the puddle! Bet you had fun putting this one together :-)
Yup, there be a bit of horse manure on the road...never seen a horse town without some here and there. The cowboy is rolling a cigarette but that turned out a bit hard to see and still get the whole saloon front in frame. What caught his eye, the girl or the buck? Well, if you were rode into town on a toon horse, which would catch your eye?? The old mountain goat in the saloon, he is a left over from my last scene using the DeadStone Saloon, everyone else left but he insisted on finishing his whiskey and one more hand of poker....
