So - I started making headdresses for my favorite vase. 😻
What happened with the sphere in the front, was just one of Bryce’s happy accidents.

I'm only back for one image per gallery tonight, Rose, but I'll get back for the rest of your gems soon. (And thank you for your loving comment on my sister, in one of my last uploads...I greatly appreciate it.) While I haven't seen your whole gallery, I know that, in what I have seen, I haven't seen much with lettering in it! I love what you did with it here: Very stylized letters: They're objects, and that great tall "d" is wonderful---not only by itself (it gives a clean modern class to the image), but for it's long reflection leading to the object on the bottom. (Where the letters and the surrounding vessels are seen either in miniature reflection, or just plain repeated.) This is one of those pieces that is complete, in and of itself, very strange to the outsider, yet yet wholly "right" to the insider. I love the old bottle-like shapes in the background, like opulent antique perfume bottles. And that eye-like sphere in front, like an eye on the whole image. Love the greens too---how they all smooth out into cool grayish olive horizon. Wonderful piece. I hope you're well, and I'll be back for the rest I hope soon...stay safe and healthy! And inspired!
