If it weren't for nonsense, I'd have no sense at all!!
La Femme and L’Homme agreed to skip out and meet in the old graveyard by their respective places of employment. What could possibly go wrong! Tombstones are toppling behind them. Mausoleum gates are creaking open. Ghosts are whispering against their skin. Banshees wail. The skies darken and toads rain down. They never noticed!
No pixels were harmed in the making of this image, except for the ones the toads ate. But the pixels got revenge by causing the pixel eating toads to explode. (They never noticed) While this did eliminate the toads, those pixels were, er… unrecoverable. Due to the lack of their dear little pixel bodies, the wake was very subdued, with only a dozen or so arrests for Drunk and Disorderly. St Pixel’s did a brisk business in Hair of the Dog and other dubious remedies. WPix carried the ceremony live, doing their best to put the Fun in Funeral!

Ah, the bubble of love (or perhaps, in the throes of NRE?), so caught up in each other that they don't notice the mayhem and spookiness that trails in their wake! Then again, pale as they are, perhaps they've been hanging out in the graveyard for... uhm... a while?? Fun scene! :-)

Whatever ghosts and other intrusions took place, they seem to have disappeared for the couple, as the background is rich in luminous greens and some oranges, and lush vegetation (esp on the right). The couple are lit up by comparison, and great outfit on the woman---you get real variety in clothing---and he's in a very relaxed walking outfit (with a dreamcatcher on his shirt). They seem to have erased all the threats of the area. It looks kind of like a ruin, but it's so rich in leaves and many luminous types of mold, they seem to have turned it all to light (love is oblivious). Beautiful work.

Honestly... I'm almost ready for it to rain toads here.... At least they don't leak into the basement! 😂 Perhaps they hop in a bit, but a good broom gets them back out the door..
