Description

Another ocean wave/sea painting. Started out with waves all the way down, but things got messy and I sorta ended up reworking the entire bottom to add sand and other areas where I had a fight with the white paint, lol working this small 6.5x3.5 trying to paint sea foam in white paint is really..annoying lol Watercolor + gouache (mixed in for the sand) Arteza watercolor paper Most of my sanity Different brushes I tried for fun... No sketching just slapping down a pale blue wash and working up the layers with glazing technique! Lots and lots of tiny blob painting for a caustic effect... Tomorrow - something EASIER lol but I did learn a lot, so it’s ok. I almost tossed it in the bin though I admit!
