But if it weren't for nonsense, I'd have no sense at all!!
The Flying Monkeys, Unofficial State Bird of Kansas, are shocked and saddened to learn they are not just the magical, man-made, misguided pets of a Maniacal Evil Overlord, but also a nasty nickname for narcissistic henchmen. So unfair!!! It’s hard enough learning to fly and carry off one’s assigned victims without all this bad press giving hard working minions a bad name!!
No Pixels were harmed in the making of this image, unless you count the screams of anguish heard when the Reds were told they were expected to perform their usual duties. Rather obviously, most of them yelled MAKE ME and retired to their trailer to drink and watch chick flicks. That IS what you call the movies with the naked girls, right??

I looked up "Flying Monkeys" and yes---they're a synonym for narcissist enablers! I'd never heard that term before, and yeah, I wouldn't want to be called that either...Love your image: The head monkey has great glasses, and eagle wings. His two henchmen (or women) are like WWI pilots. The left-side one has a necklace of radio receptors, maybe? Some kind of techno stuff? I love that you've set this in a bronze-ish ancient temple, w/ real bronze hues and slate browns, and pillars and such...love the imagination. Very creative stuff!
This one makes it into my top five flying monkey images! I heard some pixels just pretend they like to watch chick flicks just so they can turn red once and a while. I'm sure news of this will reach Ma Genta, then the problem will be fixed...
I see a few of the red pixels showed up, though, and they did a nice job! The posing here is so expressive, you can see their disappointment in the news!

Hah! If they think that's bad news, just wait 'till they find out the FAA is going to make then wear transponders and subscribe to wireless tracking services to make sure they don't fly in places they shouldn't.. I can here the screaming now..

Officially it's that wizard of oz thing ...but hay. i'm all for artistic license....so Flying Monkeys from Kansas works for me....without a doubt...some of the most creative images....top work...!!

Those are, indeed, some rather bummed looking monkeys! Love their expressions (and their bling)! Monkeys have always been misunderstood :-)
