As compositionally intriguing as always (with the heart referenceing the Cythera of the painting?); its always a pleasant diversion looking for the links (though being rather inexpert I'm sure I miss quite a few!). This one also has some particularly good texrtures for added pizazz.

the balloon heart is a decoy, certainly it refers to the painting of Watteau, but this string can break at any time or the balloon can burst. it replaces the true heart of this young woman and her torments, just as luggage replaces her body. in other words, everything that we can take with us of material, becomes bulky, falsely luxurious, even fragile and fake (the balloon) compared to the intensity, positive or negative, of the feelings that we constantly transport with us, and which we often keep invisible for lack of proper dressing.

Je te rejoins, je crois que c'est dans "La Cité de la Joie" qu'il y a cette belle phrase tirée d'un proverbe sanskrit : " Tout ce qui n'est pas donné est perdu."
