This scene was loosely inspired by a scene from the movie Jurassic World when Claire needs to lure out the T-Rex to fight the Indominous Rex. If you remember that movie, you may remember the “controversy” that surrounded the fact that Claire was wearing heels throughout the movie including when running from said T-Rex. That inspired my using heels in this render. Why? I personally find it awesome that she was able to run in high heels when I can’t even walk in them. So I guess you could call this my tribute. All in all though, this was fun to create! I want to create more dino renders now. :D

Really impressive
Fun idea! The high heel immediately caught my attention, as it always amazes me how on-screen characters manage to do anything while wearing heels, much less taking on hostile cave-dwelling creatures! I always wonder what kind of conversation must've gone on between the screen writer, the director, the wardrobe folks, and the actress to lead to this kind of footwear being chosen over, say, a nice hiking boot. Hats off to the actresses who manage to pull everything off in high heels!

I think that the high heel chases were done afc (away from camera) so that who appears to be Claire running from the T-Rex... is actually a stunt double not is wearing what appear to be high heels.. or maybe it's the camera angle... in any case I love this version as apposed to the DOF version. Not only because of the beautiful detail on her leg.. but it's the fact that she appears really really close to becoming dino meat... or not.
