wow, Tom, you're going so deep into this transcendent series, it's amazing. You find so many layers of experience in these creations. I've often said you had a jeweled quality to many of your bugs---but this one seems to have actual jewels: That body is like a packed glass chandelier: The forms are all cut-glass of varying colors. Or jewels (though if they were jewels, this thing would be wayyyyyyyy costly!). It's beautiful the way you go from deep midnight blues to lighter blues, in the center; and you have some bright aquas in the mid range too---beautiful---and yellowish hues, and so on. The top edges are like mini stained glass windows, like they were taken from a cathedral. And of course your legs are the usual shining protrusion---only these are glistening with deep reds and yellows and whites. And the wings are a caramel buttery-yellow. This is gorgeous. It's amazing how you find inspiration after inspiration for these---this whole series contains the cosmos.
