Description
*If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.*
Isaac Newton.
-------------------------------------------
This is the portrait for dear J. from Canada, made pretty quickly with 2B pencil, whose works I advice you to see in these galleries :)
I am particularly happy to have portraited her, she's such a beautiful person, innerly, and so she is also outerly :)
I apologize if during this week I won't really be around galleries that much-therefore I will probably fail to make comments under others' works-, but my committments are just too filled.
Anyway, this is the fist of portraits series, which will be copiosus, since portraits will be one of my way to gift friends for Xmas this year ;)
Enjoy and.. Lillith, you're adorable! :)
*hugs* :)

meli, you are a blessed soul and i am so grateful to have met you. :) i am looking at the original sketch right now as i write this, my special gift all the way from italy... and i am humbled. thank you so much. :)
Very beautiful Meli! hugs
What a marvelous gift, she is beautiful!
I am sure that the model on the pic is beautiful, but Meli, your hands brought us a chance to see her beyond the image, to see something in her face, something misterious that we can try to guess but only she will know. I really love the hidden smiles on your pics ;D
:-) I think I remember the photo this came from, and a very lovely one. Lillith is as glad to have found you as I am, as you are a truly beautiful person yourself. You purify people... loads of hugs :-)
A glance made lovely in your hand. She lives now as a fantasy of your hand and eye in your mind to spawn forth all sorts of liberations. Liilith must find Garibaldi and his partisans to live out a form in red.
Wow! One more masterpiece, Meli. Congrats! Though I like Your ballet series (and my son prefers Your birds :) Your female portraits are my favourite!
Great Image! Incredible as always!
Very lovely!
It's just beautiful. From the tilt of the head to the way she looks at the viewer, the subtle smile and the way you've framed her head with ondulating lines.
I like this, very beautiful!

Sparkling as always, very good and so full of life...
Beautiful work! I love her lips and eyelashes! Brava!!

un meraviglioso lavoro Meli!!!.....il tratto fermo e sicuro gli duna gran personalita questo magnifico ritratto, il punto di vista fa che il viso si veda di una forma molto particolare...la soave gamma di grigi accentua i tratti facciali.
