Cute girl but why does the room have to be out of focus?
Actually my original render did not have the room out of focus but when I placed this render in a thread someone suggested it should be. I suppose it depends on the use, the out of focus certainly gives it more impact so for a stand alone render it is probably better. If it is to be used as an illustration for a book, which was the original intent, I think you are correct the background would be better in focus, it is afterall telling a story.
