I went into a shop in London today and for the first time in weeks there was plenty of toilet paper! Most stores here are now limiting people to buying a maximum of three of any item and will not sell you more. It seems to be working as I have been able to buy things I could not get for weeks. I bought two packs of that toilet paper because I live alone and that's several weeks supply; the cashier complimented me on my restraint. I was masked and people were giving me envious stares instead of looking at me as if I were mad.
We live in strange times.

Saw a sign in a shop the other day: "We don't have toilet paper - even if you ask. But we do have cat litter."
