Water Has Memory
See into my fears,
They grow and swirl,
They fly, they hide,
They make perfect sense,
To me.
Not sure if I want to dance,
With her in the night,
Or in the light.
A part of me wants,
To run away, a part,
Wants to stay.
Water has memory,
And remembers the tragic story,
Long after the tears have gone.

Hope waters memory is better than mine, i have great long term memory (can remember stuff from the late 50s) but my shot term memory is gone (can't remember what I had for breakfast). People say it's because I smoked dope for some 40 years, no problem though I'll remember what I had for breakfast in a few years.
An interesting but quite eerie scene you've created...do like your poem which reflects these times of uncertainty...
