Description
This attempt is NOT a success. The two ships just don't fit together well. In fact, I almost didn't finish this experiment, but there was one thing I kind of liked, and that was the extension of the main cabin and adding a grill to the top of it. That detail is interesting, and I may copy it onto one of the other models.
Another reason this one won't make the cut is that it is too hard to work with; the shadows just don't fall in good places and that curved "accordion" look near the rear just caused more problems than it was worth.
But, I have tossed it out there. Is there any specific element or feature that looks good to you?

I'd say keep the grille, but also try to keep the upper docking hatch thingy if it doesn't end up looking too busy--I feel that would add a good bit of variety to the hull.
Agreed. I miss that top hatch thingie from the other versions. I'm thinking that it may actually hide a gun turret.
Agree - that grille adds a lot of good detail. Perhaps integrating it to #1 would be the way to go.
