Just a bit of messing around with TDT - Ophelia, and one of Angel's (Savage Dragon) backgrounds which are available in the free stuff section. Thanks, Angel!
This was inspired by a certain goddess of the violin - three guesses who, and the first two don't count... 😉 Hint... Her initials are LS..
Anyhoo.... Before anyone asks.... Yes. I deleted my post regarding the "test" with the pop-ups. I rarely ever delete something I've posted because it also wipes out all your comments, which I thank you for from the bottom of my heart. But it served its purpose, and I just want to keep things in as positive a light as possible here, and use other avenues for the less fun stuff.
I've posted a short update on YT with a bit of painting in Photoshop as I talk a little about some things to come.
As you will see, I am continuing work on Chapter 7, and the image I'm working on in the video is one that will be in the prologue.
I'll have another image to post tomorrow in celebration of..... Something...

back for another couple of images, catching up w/ you hopefully in 3 sessions...I'm familiar with Lindsey Stirling, but not intimately, unfortunately, so I don't know too much of how she is in performance; but I love the mix of elation and conflict in your piece...she's dancing and making sparks, and at the same time surprised to find herself surrounded by all the energies she's produced. I really like the contrasts! Love the spark on the violin, and her dance pose. And with Goldie, I love the orange light on her back---it does harmonize with your background. And that background: neon greens and oranges, etc, in watercolor and ink, splatting and oozing all over the frame---great imagination! (Something I assume you can't do too often in your TNA series, because the stories have realistic backgrounds ((which you do consummately)), so it's great to see you dive in and mess around like this). The deep blue on the bottom is restful, ie a good "foundation" hue. You really went for "painterly" in this! What an imaginative treatment of this obviously energized musician. Terrific, Rod. Really imaginative. And I'll try to catch up on your videos soon---I just want to comment first. (I've loved your videos, so my absence from them has strictly been because of time.)
