Baie de Tadoussac
Tadoussac est un village canadien qui fait partie de la municipalité régionale de comté (MRC) de La Haute-Côte-Nord dans la région administrative de la Côte-Nord au Québec. Il est situé au bord du fleuve Saint-Laurent et a une population de 799 habitants en 2016. Tadoussac est le premier établissement français pérenne en Amérique du Nord.
Le village de Tadoussac est situé sur le littoral nord du fleuve Saint-Laurent dans la municipalité régionale de comté de La Haute-Côte-Nord dans la région administrative de la Côte-Nord dans l'Est du Québec.
Tadoussac pourrait venir du montagnais « Totouskak » qui signifie « mamelles » ; deux collines rondes étant situées à l'ouest du village. Le nom de Tadaosakw est une variante traditionnelle autochtone du nom du village1. Selon Serge Bouchard, les Innus appellent cet endroit Tsheshagut.

The village of Tadoussac is located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in the regional county municipality of La Haute-Côte-Nord in the Côte-Nord administrative region in eastern Quebec.
Tadoussac could come from the Montagnais “Totouskak” which means “breasts”; two round hills being situated to the west of the village. The name Tadaosakw is a traditional indigenous variant of the village name1. According to Serge Bouchard, the Innu call this place Tsheshagut.
