I have had trouble with a sore throat for weeks off and on. I was taking one antibiotic but it had quit working . I went to the doctor this morning and he prescribed a different antibiotic. I purchased it, but after reading the directions I decided it was too dangerous. it said that people 60 and older face the greatness danger of problems (fatality the big one). I can live with the sore throat, so no way will I take it. (levofloxacin)

This car I can afford lol. If sore throat is a virus they probably won't help and like you say may cause more serious issues.
