Way to go Chiefs!
Last time the Chiefs won a Super Bowl, I listened to the final moments of the game while sitting in the cockpit of an F-4D Phantom at an airbase in Udorn Thailand. No, I wasn't flying it (I wish), I was doing maintenance on the HF comm gear.
Anyway, I'm sitting here listening to all the fireworks outside, and hoping all those beer-soaked morons firing guns into the air don't have them pointed my direction. Idiots.
Aside from that, I'm glad the Chiefs won - it's been a long time!

I was about 12 yrs old when they won their first. Did not even know much about football back in those years. I'm a bronco fan and should be going against the Chiefs, but a huge Andy Reed fan. He's been through alot. Was happy with the outcome. One great thing is no New England Patriots!! Happy for you and Jo if shes a fan?

As a die hard 9er fan, congrats. I think both teams will be going to this dance again in the near future. I hate the chiefs - always have, always will but I'm happy for you, big guy. Until we meet again - next year?

I'm only back for one right now, Rod (all kinds of things going on that have taken me away), but I wanted to come here and say hi again, and say I heard about the chiefs that night---checked the headlines (I was doing legal/will-trust stuff at the time, don't ask)---and was really happy for you and everyone else in the KC area. I know what it's like, being a Cubs fan, and what it's like when a home team wins after so much time. (I don't think the Chiefs were nearly as bad as the Cubs were, in their off years. At least not as many years in a row. It's hard to believe anyone was as bad as the cubs were for many years.) Anyway, I'm very happy for you! Love your post-it on the cup, and I like that nature in the background---either a door, a window or maybe a pic. I'll be back soon, but congratulations...Also, I started one of your videos, and will finish when all this stuff is over. I hope your rest of winter treats you and jo well, you guys deserve it. Spring isn't too far off, anyway. Congrats on the Chiefs. As mel brooks said, "it's good to be the king..."
