This has a late 19th Century French feeling (perhaps you wanted that), and you've given a lot of 'liquid' feeling to your image, via the falling leaves and the very vertical grasses and flowers. (Ie, there are many long verticals here, which give a feeling of everything flowing and bowing to the ground. It also has the graceful 'surrender' of weeping willows...) The woman's dress also has long verticals...and you wove all kinds of 'waves' into her dress: She almost appears to be an apparition...A beautiful umbrella, with more hanging verticals (the tassels). And lots of beautiful blue accents throughout the image. Her pearl necklace is a sweet addition, as is the decorated umbrella handle. (They still make umbrellas like that...they're expensive, but beautiful.) A lavish, overflowing image, the kind that was painted for the Salons in France, in the 1890s. Very lushly done.
This definitely has a painterly feel to it. Very nicely done!
