There's at least one monitor in every room in the house - usually two or three. Sizes vary. I spend a lot of time checking the Station 42 NEWS feeds which is somewhat like listening to everyone's gossip. Things that contain certain words are flagged. Most of them are just stuff - nothing important. But sometimes, they are. Thanks to the Walls we had at Terra that recorded all the speech they heard, we have full translations of nearly every language and some that are 'dead'. Then again, when you're as old as I am, you've learned most of the common tongues as it is. There are only a few I can't place. But, that's just the tip of the iceberg with what goes on. I'm not just monitoring my world of subjects, I'm monitoring what the GGs are saying and doing. That Gamer Gods to you. I and others of my kind then interract with them however we see fit - but it all comes back to me. I monitor those replies too. Afterall, you don't want to give away too much information. Conversely, I have to attempt to dig into what the others said to find where they're going with their schemes and ideas. Luckily, it's not an all the time thing, but I do spend a considerable amount of time pondering all the possibilities. There have been two generations of Gamer Gods now.
