Description
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada - December 13, 2019 : During warmer months the Heart Shaped Pond area is full of romance with people holding hands and couples posing for their wedding photos. The cold weather has arrived, the hardwood trees no longer have foliage, ducks have left the pond and the bench is empty. Loneliness is a rarity at the Heart Shaped pond. A thin layer of ice now covers most of the pond's water.
