There is something very arresting about the three colored umbrellas in an otherwise monochrome image, and there is a very peculiar sort of cognitive dissonance with that leftmost umbrella still in black and white. Visually, it would not look as good if the last umbrella was colored, but as a representational work, it is surprising.
