Description
The bored young stranger strikes up a conversation with the older brother. They seem to hit it
off. The young stranger tells older brother of his travels thus far, while younger brother, a
rather shy boy, listens in the background.
The day remains quiet without any business for the station. After getting to know the young
stranger better through their conversations, older brother decides to close the station for the
day and show the young stranger around the area.
'Park your car in the garage. We'll lock it up so no one bothers it. We'll take my car. Me and
my brother will show you around the area, if you would like.'
The stranger likes that idea. He is quite taken now by the older brother and wants to get to
know him better. He parks his car in the garage and younger brother closes the big garage
door as the young stranger walks over to older brother's car.
'Wow! You sure have an old beauty here!' says the stranger. 'One of the best ones I've seen.'
'Yeh, I guess it isn't too bad. I wanted to get a Firebird but my dad wouldn't let me. This
gets me around alright. Could be a lot worse.'
'If you had this car overseas, you could just about name your price for it!' exclaims the
young stranger.
Younger brother finishes locking up the station and gets in the back seat of the car. The
young stranger gets in the passenger side and they take off down the road, older brother
squealing rubbber and bringing a smile to all three of them.
