Description
This is one of my favorites. I modeled the characters in zbrush, not too detailled, I just wanted to create a mystic scene. What are these two up to? what are they talking about? what secret are they trying to keep? is one of them going to tell? who knows ... the mist cleaves to the cobblestones, all over the place. somewhere in the background you can hear somebody coming closer ...
I try to avoid too obvious details, but I love creating a scene that works with the viewer. I try to create something that takes you away into another world.
There is no postwork in this one. One single render in Vue9.

my favourite bit? that cute little mouse down in the corner [love his pose & the perspective there!]. the story my minds creates for this is a tale of conspiracy, dark plots in the night, buying the services of a sellswords [or a mage] in order to achieve an endgame. this image reminds me of stories i've read by Brandon Sanderson [more fitting to his style of word painting] and Joe Abercrombie [more fitting plot-wise]... i always find it so interesting how a viewer's eyes will fill in details that maybe are not present in an image, but that are important to the individual, engaging them subconsciously, and i think it invites the viewer to 'step into' the 'story' being played out visually [i know that it is this that draws me to more illustrative styles, and always will]... lovely lighting, btw...

You are a master with lighting like this. For a "not too detailed" scene, this is loaded with details; from the rat in the dogs mouth to the spider webbing and noose. A mysterious and eerie image that's very well done.
