I didn't know that kohlrabis grew above ground like that. But I've seen kohlrabis (cabbage turnip, in English), and it does look like this. I love how the leaves grow directly out of the surface---they're like little trees. And I see the huge smile on the fleshy part of the vegetable---in fact, I see TWO smiles, lol. You captured the big, bulbous, clumsy beauty of the thing, and you captured a lot of light too. A delightful shot, with lots of detail.
