Francis Fortesque Fotheringham, aka the Frothing Bunny, had placed Alice in detention, not for scrawling on the walls, but for kicking Geoffrey Mogg forcefully in the goolies. Geoffrey's smirk had told Alice all she needed to know when challenged about debasing her nascent political aspirations with a lewd boyish comment.
