Highly impressive dear Barb. I'm fascinated with this piece.
Very dramatic scene! Most impressive portrait! Bravo!
Do like how you've combined the various elements of this scene...mysterious and somewhat malevolent, it is seasonally appropriate...
Absolutely wonderful, good composition and excellent light 👏👍🖐
Ohhh...I like the raven!
Awesome beautiful image!
Beautiful and original pose ! Super !!
Beautiful!
Gorgeous
You know Barb, I think you're a mystic at heart. Your images are this delicate combination of real life, fairy tale, enchanted lands, yearning, fulfillment and mystery...you must've been a mystic in your last lives. This woman stepped out of a deep dream---that misty clock and checkerboard floor help that, esp because they're in mist (almost underwater), and they're so strange and suggestive. She looks fixated on something far beyond. And she holds a---raven? a crow? (Well, ravens are crows, so they're kind of the same thing.) (Ravens throughout history have evoked mystery, yearning, darkness and hope.) Beautiful gown with flowers on it, which are also on her hair and wrist...she looks like she stepped-in off a moor in fog-laden England; i expect spirits of the dead to come visit...Finally, your title image---the candles---feel like guardians to guide her way...Another mysterious beauty from you, a woman on a quiet quest, apropos of the season...
