Description
Mom Said You Have to Share the Grapes - Inspired by Alma-Tadema's paintings, I had to work some storytelling in to my painting. (The last attempt at a Tadema style painting lacked story telling.)
Confronted by her sister, Athena is told she needs to share... which is highly unlikely. (Hey, I reared 7 daughters. Sisters can be cruel to each other. To this I'm sure history hasn't changed that fact.)
This is the result of about a dozen renders (used for reference) and then creating a digital painting from those references.
