Forgive my disappearance, steve, it's taken longer to get past this back issue than I thought. I'm picking up where I left off last time...A striking portrait, with a woman in great facial ornament, like she's wearing a mask from the middle ages...great job on those black eyes (what I assume are mask eyes), and the delicately done lines and illustrations on her skin. And You use deep red really well here, in her head-bands, in the heart behind her, and in her nails. The silver/black in the background is a fine contrast to the bright whites of her skin, and to all those reds. A very intriguing, mysterious and inviting/daring portrait, with your usual spot-on intuitions about composition, light, etc. The purples of your title are wonderful accents too...
