I'm really enjoying that cool water color effect, particularly in the background. The halo you put around her body works well with the little white dots you used to convey her magic. Subtle-yet-effective use of color. I particularly like the poses, even though they are a bit stiff, they really work well with this style of illustration – both poses and approach really convey a classic feel to this piece. His pose conveys a lot of things, including caution and strength. Her pose conveys that she is at once aloof yet powerful. The only thing I'm not certain of is the texture on her lower garment. Is it supposed to be chain maile, like his tunic? Probably. I love that little band of light that travels down from her hip area, through the "skirt" of her costume and then down to the bottom. That tiny detail of color adds depth to what could, in lesser hands, be a flat illustration. Also, love the rough detail on the background trees! Just the right amount of shape to convey a forest setting. EXCELLENT WORK, my friend!
