Description
When I was a kid my brother used to catch fireflies in the summertime. They were all over & we enjoyed watching them & we always let them go. Now I never see a firefly, there is too much spraying of insecticide so they are all gone. This is not a good effect of progress when something that is so beautiful & harmless is no longer around. Thank you for visiting my artwork.

Stunning image, perfect in all ways!
I remember catching them as a kid too, though we called them "lightening bugs" (maybe a Southern thing?). I like the way the fireflies light up the girl's face!
I'm from the South too, well I guess Southwest, [Texas] & we called them lightning bugs also when I was a kid.
