Her expression does betray the shadow of a doubt she seems to be having. In any case she is looking very lovely in that dress and tiara.

I did not want too saturated colors. the scene is in the antechamber of the wedding, in a retreat in some corner of the church of the ceremony perhaps. the bride does not feel quite ready to make her decision (she does not have her wedding ring yet) She meditates in front of the lily, which for her has a symbolic dimension.

Vu les symboles, ça pourrait se passer le matin quelques heures avant de passer devant monsieur le Maire ( le curé, c'est moins important, légalement parlant ). Et on la comprend, vu ce que beaucoup d'hommes deviennent par la suite!
