wonderfully controlled palette and engaging image
Once more, you've taken a rock song (limp bizkit) and given it a wonderfully visual, inventive interpretation. I remember a line in it about a 'bite', and you have a bite mark in her neck (most visible full size). And the woman seems to be staring at us out of a deep chamber of memory or of yearning...and you've clothed her beautifully (also most visible full size) with that beautiful ivory-silver skin-tone you get in your more-mysterious portraits. Great light on the curtains and metal ring (around the heart): It's like pure platinum. And the heart's red and candle's yellow are the only non black-and-white hues here; and they stand out. In your image, you capture the mystery of the lyrics, and create a world all your own. Beautifully lit and mysterious. (I've actually known most of the songs this time around: That's a first for me!) Beautiful image, Steve.
