I'm skipping around this time---another long session here is coming in a day or two; but for today I'll do a few, as there are still people I haven't yet visited once (I've never been this far behind). I love this old blue '59 Chevy. It speaks "Americana": long, sleek, classy, it feels low to the ground, it has those beautiful curved lines, and you caught the long sweep of it, it's way with reflections (on the side, in pic 1; and in the highlights, in pic 2). As you suggest, they don't make them like this anymore. You caught the way it commands its space, how dark and intense it looks in that bleaching SCal sun, and you got sweet contrasts with the reds behind it (pic 1) and the darks and the red umbrellas (pic 2). A classy pair of shots Harry, of one classy old car.
And btw, I want to say yet again how much I appreciate your comments and observations on my art. I never take them for granted. And given what you're dealing with every day for several years now, I never take them for granted, and I remain very grateful.
