Description
If one wanted a loyal dragon, one that would respond to and carry out commands, it was necessary to acquire dragon eggs and become the dragon's "hatch mother." The first face the hatchling sees, becomes their "parent." Since no dragon DNA has been recovered, it is difficult to determine to which specific species they belonged, but is is believed from existing contemporaneous drawings of dragons, that they belonged to the Crocodylia family. Apparently, like the crocodile, dragons did not stop growing throughout their lifetime.
