This is just what I was talking about in my last comment: This is a masterful image. You brought out a softness in the spiral; the light is delicious and sensual; the background sets it off perfectly; and the effect is one of a pure swirl of light, separated and celebrated all by itself. Really beautiful work, Harry. Even the stem feels like a poem...like the flower is floating in pure air.
(I can't seem to get the link to work: So just google "Weston Photography" in Google Images. Look at how he treated vegetables, plants, etc: He abstracted them with light and shadow. This image is right at home with them.)
