I don't know: You said, above, "no great ideas, and muse." Well, I'll quote Rod: "If this is what you do when you're uninspired.... I'm blown away, Steve!" Ditto!!! Full size---which nearly fills up my living room, lol---this is terrific! The original song from the 60s was supposedly inspired by passages from The Book of Ezekiel (fr. the Bible), but understandably a lot of people thought it referred to crystal meth. (It was, in fact, used very effectively in Breaking Bad, the famous show about making and selling crystal meth; and I can't hear that song today without thinking of that show.) Somehow you decided to use bulbs in the background: I don't remember there being bulbs in the lyrics, but it is a stroke of pure perfection on your part, because it fits your image perfectly: The shapes are fluid and beautiful; the blue tones---ala the title---give them a luminous feel; and, as a group, they feel like floating ideas...
And then there are your signature contrasts: Great use of black on your model! The perfect tone to contrast with the blue and white background. And, in full size, you lit her black outfit with lots of highlights, and brought out her outfit's grain (it's leather or faux leather). I've said it before but you do rock musicians as well as anyone here, and tons better than most. Here, she leans on her guitar, and you do two things of pure perfection: You make the guitar body clear---zowie: great choice for that illumined background---and then you criss-cross it with the bottom of the mike stand. Man, that's terrific design, Steve. Your design sense just knocks me out. And the round rims of the speak (woofer, tweeter, etc) fit the round bulb shapes perfectly. This is another knockout piece of design, as good as most of the best album covers and posters I've seen. As rod said, "If this is what you do when you're uninspired.... I'm blown away..." Terrific.
