The term 'Groloks' is loosely applied to the animal, the wagons, a wagon train, and the teamsters themselves. Originally it was just used to describe the animal. Groloks are herbivores, dim-witted, and nervous. It takes a practiced hand to control them. When The People first crossed the mountains and discovered Groloks, they were heavily hunted. However; the meat, while delicious, imparts to the person and vile body odor that does not go away. Groloks are now beasts of burden only.
