Description
Blake had taken her children shopping for new clothes. Siobhan was getting tired and, while they waited for the bus, Michael tried to entertain his little sister to ward off major crankiness. Blake was so proud of him for taking his big brother role seriously today. Tomorrow her two angels would probably pick at each other nonstop, but today was as near to perfect as it got.
I was trying out Zoro_d’s French Twist free hair prop and ended up with this. I thought it would make a nice gift for the May Artists and double as a Mother’s Day image. I hope all the May Birthday Artist have a glorious day. (Let me know if you want to be added to the list.)

like the expressions and poses .. a marvelous composition
love the story here, and there are your usual fine touches. Love Blakes outfit and matching bag and shoes, love the kids, and how Siobhan is peeking out of her fatigue to enjoy her brother. Also, she clings to her mom the way kids do. And you captured the blank in-between-worlds feel of a waiting area (for a bus). Delightful and tender. (And Siobhan! There's an Irish name! I haven't seen that name in ages...)
And, re your comments in the last upload, it's fully understandable that you drop off RR whenever you do. You have a full life outside of RR. (If I complained about anyone's absence, I'd be the biggest hypocrite in the world.) And big birthday celebrations are a big deal for adults: I've never known a friend who's been through one for their kids who didn't talk about it for days afterwards....
