I've finally been able to get back to working on this saga... Things here have been totally insane, but maybe it's starting to calm down just a little.. My backyard looks like someone's turned it inside out - probably because someone DID turn it inside out.. Glad that's over, and I'm just beginning to recover from the sticker-shock. Sort of.. In addition, we're starting on a number of things to get this place ready to put on the market as we seek a new location for The Lair.... Anyway....
In addition to getting back to the last few pages of Chapter 6, I've been putting a few things together for Chapter 7. I've had to move a bunch of stuff from Chapter 6 to Ch 7, since there were so many things happening in 6. And 7 will be... let's just say fasten your seatbelts. Many things will be revealed, including the actual source of the organization's acronym, T.N.A. It's not what you're thinking... LOL And who are the V'Soth? You'll just have to wait and see.. No spoilers..

First, on the image: A great movie poster, with deep greens and that horror film yellow---eerie and dark, enhanced by the rock-cracks you put in the letters. With eerie lighting throughout, and that big blast of green-yellow light coming out of Kinnie's weapon. (I'd like to call it something, but I haven't a clue what it is, lol !) Your shot of KC is perfect, and it leads to full ground on the bottom, with cars back there, etc. Love the lights on Kinnie's outfit---she's radiant---and the beautifully done blue outfits, and G4's fatigue outfit with your usual fine detail. A formidable 'shot' of your team, all dressed perfectly, looking no-nonsense and sexy as always, and lined up beautifully with downtown KC. You picked great colors...and I like the credits too. A first rate poster.
I'm sorry your yard is still torn up. (Didn't they replace the dirt, and at least leave you with level dirt?) It must feel like a symbol of everything in your life now. I'm sure the 10G is a big lump sitting over you two, and i hope you guys aren't hurting too much in its wake. I'm actually surprised to see you here so much, in the last few weeks. (I saw this the minute it went up, I just couldn't get to it till today.)
Rod, once more, thank you so much for you comments, and jokes...I appreciate them all. You mentioned that you'd like to write humor like 'mine'---I gotta tell you, you have a terrific sense of humor, and you have that way of remembering tiny details, both in your comments to my work as well as in your own work, which is the cornerstone of comedy. I don't know how you would do madcap comedy in this series, however, only because the series has a serious undertone; and also, you have VISUALS, lol: I Mean, if you did a madcap piece, you have to put VISUALS to it (yikes!), and that's a big big commitment. But really, of all the people here, I can't think of anyone who is more suited to creating comedy than you; and you put it in your serious TNA pieces too; you just make it part of a larger whole. I just don't know how you'd fit a madcap diversion into this ongoing saga. But hey...you could have some crazy relatives of the women visit, and turn the story upside down. I don't know. I don't have the problems you do---ie, visuals---I just 'write'. Just know you got the stuff. (You should do standup...run onto stage, yell, "hey I just flew in from Detroit, and boy are MY arms tired! Ba-da-boom! Laugh it up, folks: I laughed when YOU came in!" Hit the mike: "Is this thing on???") You always do bits in your videos which are a riot. I think it's just a matter of finding the visual medium that works for you. Thank god I don't have to deal with visuals, when I write. I don't know how you do it...(Really, my comedy bits are just an artistic Keystone Cops: It's mayhem. Would you want to do that to your story? It'd be a gas, but for you, tons of work because of your visuals....
Rod---I've been called away just now. I'll get to your latest, this week. Have a good week! (did you get snow? WE did!) I wish you all the best with everything. Your life has been torn up, literally, to the bedrock. I wish you a good transition. You do know, right, that moving is ranked among the top 4 or 5 stresses in life...I hope it's not hard on you two...

BTW while your yard is turned inside out. Take a look at some rocks. You might find some Cretaceous marine life.
Well, they didn't dig up any rocks, but yeah - with all the limestone in this part of the country, you can find all kinds of fossilized tiny critters and plants... Not hard to find them at all.
