By this I ended my "woodland" trilogy: forest spider, bug and ant. Smallest beast is a winner :D:D

If you want to keep it going, you could have the ant's being consumed by a smaller foe, the many hungry bacteria from which there is no escape, lol. Or even down to the quantum level, what critters do you see there...
