when I was 4, I lost myself alone in the woods; there were so many branching trails that it was like a labyrinth. It was terrifying for a 4-year-old boy. I remembered that I have seen a horse dung on a trail, not far from home; when I saw it again; I knew where I was and I came home safely. I learned so many things, at that age, from that single experience. I can imagine a little girl lost in the dark; terrifying. Beautiful scene!
