Description
George and his wife, Pepper, love to play Pool. Pepper actually hustled pool in college to augment her spending money. George is no slouch either. He won several amateur tournaments in his younger days. They usually have a friendly bet on the outcome of the games, ranging from who has to walk the dog (poop scooping included) to diamond earrings. Pepper knows that sexy clothing won’t distract George during a game, but it’s fun to try anyway.

I remember when you posted this, I loved it. Love the dark light, contrasted with those fluorescent bulbs on top (right? fluorescent? neon, maybe?) and the big white light through the window. You got the shadows of a pool hall. (Man, we got pool halls here in Chicago that are dungeons!) Her white dress makes her stand out, and I love how all her lines lead to that one pool ball---also white. A whole image right there. Love her husband's look: Big guy, dead serious, love his vest and blue shirt (like Jackie Gleason in The Hustler, another big guy who dressed well...George C Scott said something like, "he won the game just when he tightened his tie..."). And that round lamp in the background which ties her and George together. I'm the worst pool player probably since the Renaissance, and it's been years since I've played the game; but you got the light and the concentration and mood. And really cool angles too.
