after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North DakotaΒ for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

Another fantastic cover.

Gorgeous cover!
Another outstanding cover, with a ton of various fonts to give it variety! I am unfamiliar with Ute aka syltermermaid and her work, but may she RIP and be remembered for her contributions to Renderosity.
A very good cover design, Steve. And cute, lovely girls too for the models.
Fabulous cover!!
I wanted to comment on at least one of your composite pieces, and I chose this: I could've done the latest operation domino piece as well, but with time pressing, I have to settle for just one. (Mea culpa, Steve!) Your colors are terrific; your contrasts are terrific. G4 dominates, but the other women do too. And your colors and textures are all terrific. Those silver-blue feline eyes are terrific; G-4's outfit morphs from purple to green-blue--which are the 2 hues of the other women. You've got great light all over, w/ great shadows; and your layout of titles is, as always, a big carnival, with variety, splash and rhythm, right down to the minutiae of the bar code, the different prices, the facebook/twitter links, etc. This is painstaking work. But you get total clarity, the women stand out like big orchestral chords, the colors are dazzling...another terrific cover from you. And your fans eat these up. You have an eye that could light up the far reaches of space. Eye popping work, visual carnivals...great to comment here once more.
Nicely done!
Excellent!!

Very sad to hear of syltermaids passing. Her characters were among the first ones I used when just starting to actually display my work.. :(
